The Karnataka Examination Authority is about to conduct the Diploma CET for admissions to various diploma courses. The KEA DCET opens the gates to secure admissions to 2nd year of engineering UG courses and the 1st year of architecture UG courses. The 2019 KEA DCET will be conducted in the month of July 2019(tentative).

CUT OFF FOR KARNATAKA DIPLOMA CET / DCET 

All the candidates willing to seek admissions to the programmes offered through DCET are advised to apply Online only, if they have the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination. (i.e., should have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate marks taken together in all the subjects of the final year (Fifth and Sixth Semester) of the Diploma examination. In case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and Backward Classes a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in all the subjects of the final year (Fifth and Sixth Semester) of the Diploma examination).


GENERAL EXAM PATTERN

Candidates are expected to attempt all the questions in the question paper, this will be mandatory in order to obtain maximum marks. There will be no negative marking with regard to the wrong answers but marks will not be awarded in respect of multiple answers. 
Additional 10 Minutes will be given for filling Name, Admission Ticket No. Version Code and Serial Number in the OMR Answer Sheet and Question Booklet. The question paper will be of (Objective) Multiple Choice type. The question paper will be in different versions. Each question will have four different options. Each question will carry ONE mark.
